An alternative way of looking…

This collection suggests an alternative way to look at nature, in particular birds. These images portray shapes, textures and colour, that captures the detail and provokes the viewer into an alternative way to look at an otherwise often overlooked aspect of its bearer.

All these images are an abstraction, small sections of real birds feathers, attached firmly to its owner, either wild or captive, but all living presented in an alternative way. Nothing has been plucked or gathered, then laid out in a purposeful or intentional manner in a specific attempt to create a composition.
