About
Originally from London, Mark has been based in the beautiful county of Suffolk for nearly thirty years and has been making photographic images for more than three decades. In that time he has had his work represented by stock agents, published in newspapers, magazines and educational material, online in a variety of ways, used in calendars, published as postcards and as book covers.
Today he prefers a more creative approach to his photography rather than simply creating stock imagery.
Mark has previously exhibited his creative art photography as part of both solo and group exhibitions. Previous collections focused on black and white which included an evocative collection of works on horses, those that live as wild entitled Spirit of Liberty and those that are domestic entitled Spirit of Companions. The collections encompassed portraits and natural behaviours. Additional collections of works included other animals, domestic and wild, as well as landscapes and nature.
Since then, Mark found a new inspiration with creative interpretation and conceptualism, so is born a new focus, more abstract. The first two released projects explores floral photographic studies in both colour and black and white presentation. The third, focus on elements of living beings, starting with a series entitled Feathers. All these works are inviting the viewing to focus on what they see, how it makes them feel and how they wish to interpret. So sit back, enjoy and Explore The Vision…
